Description
ONX Vapid Scout Police Interceptor supplies a scratch-built utility vehicle for a mixed emergency fleet. Dayashii created the Scout, assisted by WiseGuy, Tidemo and JunkyWRX. Its lore-friendly body carries LSPD, LSSD and SAHP liveries, with non-ELS lights and a wide selection of cabin equipment.
The Scout belongs to the ONX Development Team’s modular fleet. Its shared equipment follows the ONX EVP and Gabz range, allowing the utility to carry the same family of lightbars, antennas, consoles, cages and tags as other vehicles in the motor pool.
Department and service configuration
The supplied city, county and state graphics can be selected on the base model. Livery templates are included for departments preparing their own artwork, and the supplied designs align with the ONX EUP Clothing Pack.
A Scout can be configured as a LEO vehicle, an EMS unit or a DOC vehicle. Federal service, Unmarked work and a Decommissioned presentation are also supported. These alternatives use the same model, with equipment choices and liveries defining the visible role.
Body colour has its own controls: both single-colour and two-tone paint are available, independent of the livery. The editable callsign is a 5-digit system with colour selection. It allows each configured Scout to carry a unit number and finish appropriate to its department.
Unit labels
The tag selection contains 16 variants in colourable and reflective-red finishes. Supervisor, Command, Warden and Paramedic labels cover command and service assignments. SWAT and Gang Unit labels accompany K9 and Caution K9 choices.
Tags, callsigns and department graphics are different layers of identification. The base Scout stays the same while those options define the assignment shown on it. They are selected through the native vehicle options rather than separate department model files.
Lightbars, antennas and exterior equipment
Emergency patterns are synchronised and non-ELS. Clients do not need ELS installed, and the vehicle does not rely on duplicate models for its lighting configurations. Lightbar options include ALPR attachments, plus slicktop and undercover arrangements.
Ram bars are offered by jurisdiction, while the player can operate the spotlights. Regular, specialist and tactical antennas provide different array styles. Wobble variants are included for the city, county and state configurations.
Custom AWD Vapid wheels complete the interceptor utility’s external specification. Dirt and crash effects use Rockstar-style mapping. Its custom handling mixes roleplay realism with an arcade balance, keeping that combination as the intended driving character.
Front cabin loadouts
The Scout offers 50+ arrangements for consoles, radios, laptops and siren controllers. Dash radar is also available. Gun-rack locations include the divider, roof and trunk, giving a choice of equipment positions within the vehicle.
These loadouts are exposed through the labelled mod categories and extras. Their selection uses the server’s existing vehicle customisation menu, the same interface used for the exterior fittings. A separate proprietary menu is unnecessary.
K9 and rear storage
A K9-ready rear compartment can use split K9/suspect seating or a full K9 setup. The split arrangement supports both primary and secondary paint colours. Window bars and dividers are included among the rear equipment choices.
The trunk has animated drawers and lockboxes. Its visual layouts cover organised storage, messy storage, raised boxes and loose clutter. These options change how the compartment is presented while retaining the same Scout resource.
For a department selecting the working interior, the front console arrangement, rear seating and storage layout are all parts of the vehicle configuration. A different assignment can use different equipment without requiring a different model identifier.
Customisation and shared components
There are 200+ customisation choices across the Scout’s modkit and extras. Labelled native categories provide the in-game controls. The selection includes the lightbar, ALPR, cage, console, antenna array, trunk, unit tags and the K9 arrangements.
The universal parts library is shared with other standalone ONX models. Its purpose is consistent component design across the fleet: a lightbar or console on the Scout follows the same equipment family as the corresponding parts on the other vehicles.
Resource specification
The model includes full LOD stages with tuned polygon counts and compressed textures. Department liveries use 2K textures. Texture limits are YTD ≤ 1024 and embedded liveries ≤ 2048.

This spawn covers the department, service and equipment variations. The vehicle menu selects the specific loadout once the Scout is in game. City, county and state liveries are included with the scratch-built vehicle.
Installation and compatibility
The Scout’s add-on resource installs by folder drop and follows a standard start order. Common FiveM frameworks are supported. Create a group folder named [onx_vehicles] under the server resources directory and add the ONX vehicle resources to it.
Place ensure [onx_vehicles] in server.cfg to start the grouped resources. Use a vehicle customisation menu to select the Scout’s liveries, patrol equipment and interior layout. The native modkit and labelled extras contain the available adjustments.
Access to custom ALPR fittings
Some options require Game Build 3095. Specifically, the custom ALPR and lightbar attachments use VMT_Lightbar, a category introduced with that build. Add this category to the menu so those choices are exposed.
The build requirement applies to that feature set. The remaining vehicle equipment runs on standard server setups. A menu lacking the category will not expose the complete custom ALPR and lightbar selection even though the vehicle itself is present.
Included documents and terms
The package contains installation tutorials, livery templates, guides and setup practices, with support included.
Assets other than textures and liveries may not be reuploaded, offered for resale or rebranded, and redistribution is not permitted. The supplied templates support department artwork within that livery customisation scope.
The Scout’s final patrol specification is assembled from its base utility model, department finish and selected equipment. A K9 unit can use the rear seating options while retaining the fleet’s chosen lightbar and graphics; another unit can select a different console or storage presentation from the same menu categories.
The colour controls also remain distinct: body paint supports a single or two-tone finish, while the callsign digits have their own editable colour. Unit tags offer colourable and red-reflective presentations, alongside the supplied department liveries and matching clothing-pack designs.
