Description

Vapid Aleutian Police Interceptor is ONX’s 2024-spec vanilla-edit patrol utility. Dayashii created the build, with WiseGuy, Tidemo and JunkyWRX contributing. Its lore-friendly design combines non-ELS lights with department liveries and a modular selection of equipment.

The Aleutian belongs to the wider ONX EVP fleet. Shared components connect its lighting, antennas, cabin fittings, cages and unit tags with other ONX and Gabz-style vehicles, so the utility can join a coordinated motor pool.

Department appearance

The supplied liveries cover LSPD, LSSD and SAHP, representing city, county and state units. They are aligned with the ONX EUP Clothing Pack. Templates and installation guides allow departments to prepare their own livery artwork.

Body paint can use a single colour or a two-tone arrangement. Its controls are independent from the livery, leaving department graphics separate from the vehicle’s paint scheme.

An editable 5-digit callsign provides individual unit identification. Its colour can also be changed. The tag selection contains 16 variants, with both colourable and red-reflective finishes.

  • Supervisor and Warden
  • Command and Paramedic
  • SWAT and K9
  • Gang Unit and Caution K9

Roles on the same model

The Aleutian can be configured for LEO, EMS or DOC duties. Federal, Unmarked and Decommissioned presentations are also available. A different role uses a different combination of equipment, graphics and identifiers on the same base vehicle.

These selections are exposed through native modkit categories and extras. Their labels identify the available changes in game, so officers use the ordinary vehicle customisation menu instead of a bespoke interface.

Lighting and external equipment

Non-ELS lighting uses synchronised patterns and requires no client ELS installation. The lightbar options include ALPR attachments as well as slicktop and undercover configurations. They are selected on the base model without needing duplicate vehicle entries.

Jurisdiction-specific ram bars and player-operated spotlights are supplied. Antennas come in regular, specialist and tactical wobble forms for city, county and state use. Custom AWD Vapid wheels provide the vehicle’s wheel specification.

Dirt and crash mapping follows Rockstar’s style. The custom handling lies between simulation-oriented realism and arcade balance, covering the patrol and pursuit use of the Aleutian. That includes pursuit and patrol scenes with the vehicle’s native emergency-light patterns, custom AWD wheels and selectable department equipment.

Cabin loadouts

There are 50+ configurations for console, radio, siren-controller and laptop equipment. Dash radar is included. Gun racks can be placed at the divider, roof or trunk, providing the range of equipment locations.

Those front-cabin choices are selected alongside the rear compartment and exterior fittings. The vehicle menu exposes them through labelled categories and extras, retaining the native customisation approach across the whole vehicle.

K9 and trunk options

K9-ready configurations are supplied. A split K9/suspect seating arrangement accepts primary and secondary paint colours, while a full K9 layout is also available. Window bars and dividers complete the rear-compartment selection.

Trunk equipment includes animated lockboxes and drawers. Visual layouts can be organised or messy, with raised boxes and loose clutter also available. The storage presentation is a configurable part of the Aleutian.

A unit can therefore select its rear seating and storage arrangement without changing the base model. The chosen cabin and trunk equipment accompanies the department livery, callsign and tag selected for that assignment.

Shared parts and resource preparation

The Aleutian offers 200+ customisation options. Lightbars, antennas, consoles, cages and tags use the universal library shared by other standalone ONX releases. Matching component designs provide the connection to the ONX EVP and Gabz-style fleets.

Full LOD stages are included. Textures are compressed and polygon counts are tuned, with 2K department liveries. Texture limits place YTD at ≤ 1024, with embedded liveries at ≤ 2048.

Installing the utility

The Aleutian is supplied in the add-on resource format, using the usual start order. Common FiveM frameworks can use it without bespoke integration code. Native extras and modkit categories provide access to the equipment choices.

  1. Group the Aleutian’s ONX vehicle resources in [onx_vehicles], creating that directory beneath the server resources folder before adding the files.
  2. Start that group with ensure [onx_vehicles] in server.cfg.
  3. Use the in-game vehicle menu to select the department finish and equipment.
  4. Enable VMT_LIGHTBAR for the custom ALPR and lightbar parts.

Build requirement

The attachment category was introduced in build 3095. Access to custom ALPR and lightbar options requires Game Build 3095 or higher with VMT_LIGHTBAR exposed in the menu.

The build note concerns those custom attachment choices. The wider configuration remains within native extras and modkit categories, so a separate menu application is not required to control the supplied equipment.

Documentation and terms

Support, livery templates, installation tutorials and setup documentation are included.

Except for liveries and textures, reuploading, resale and rebranding of assets are prohibited. Redistribution is not allowed.

Fleet configuration

The base Aleutian model provides the patrol utility, and the native choices determine its working role. The livery, paint, callsign and tag establish the visible identity; consoles, rear seating and storage establish its equipment arrangement.

Other ONX models use the same universal component library. That allows the Aleutian’s lightbar, antenna and interior equipment to follow the rest of the fleet’s design while its utility body remains a separate vehicle.

For a K9 assignment, the split or full rear arrangement is selected with the associated bars and dividers. A different assignment can retain the same department graphics while using another console or trunk configuration. Those are native equipment choices within the supplied 200+ selection.
