Description
Vapid Caracara Raid is a 2020 Special Pursuit Interceptor with non-ELS lighting and modular patrol equipment. Dayashii created the build, assisted by WiseGuy, Tidemo and JunkyWRX. Its lore-friendly specification includes custom Off-road Trophy Vapid wheels and department liveries.
The supplied vehicle is configured through modkit and extras, with 200+ customisation choices.
Department roles
The Caracara uses a single model for LEO, EMS and DOC configurations. It also supports Federal, Unmarked and Decommissioned presentations. Equipment selections and department graphics establish the role shown by the vehicle.
LSPD, LSSD and SAHP liveries cover city, county and state service. Their designs coordinate with ONX EUP Clothing Pack uniforms. Livery templates and installation guides are included for preparing a department’s own artwork.
The body supports single-colour or two-tone paint independently of the livery. An editable 5-digit callsign has colour selection, allowing the unit identifier to follow the department’s chosen presentation.
Unit tags
There are 16 tags in colourable and red-reflective forms. The labels include Warden, Supervisor, Command and Paramedic, along with SWAT, Gang Unit, K9 and Caution K9.
These identifiers work alongside the livery and callsign. Selecting a different assignment changes those native options on the same Caracara rather than requiring a separate department model.
Lighting and exterior fittings
Non-ELS emergency lights display synchronised patterns without a client ELS requirement. Lightbar equipment includes ALPR attachments and slicktop or undercover choices. Those configurations remain part of the same vehicle resource.
Player-operated spotlights accompany ram bars selected for the jurisdiction. The custom Off-road Trophy Vapid wheel design gives the Raid its wheel treatment. Rockstar-style dirt and crash mapping provides the model’s wear and damage appearance.
Custom handling combines roleplay realism with arcade balance, retaining the intended pursuit character. The vehicle suits highway interdiction and city patrol scenes.
Cabin equipment
More than 50 console, radio, laptop and siren-controller setups are available. A dash radar is supplied alongside gun-rack choices for the divider, roof and trunk, providing several locations for the equipment.
Cages, antennas, trunk equipment and tags are also configured in the same customisation menu. These are selected in the same vehicle customisation menu as the department livery and emergency-light arrangement.
Labelled native extras and mod categories identify the available options. A standard menu can expose the equipment without a custom user interface, keeping the configuration within the usual vehicle workflow.
Shared parts
The universal ONX EVP/Gabz library connects the Raid with other standalone vehicles. Lightbars, antennas, consoles, cages and tags belong to that common equipment family. Matching fittings can therefore accompany different base vehicles across a department.
The package includes the city, county and state Caracara finishes, shared components and documentation. EVP Liveries and Lightbars companion add-on offers additional graphics and lighting choices.
Asset preparation
LOD stages are supplied across the model, with tuned polygon counts and compressed textures. Department liveries use 2K artwork. The texture ceilings are YTD ≤ 1024 and embedded liveries ≤ 2048.

onx_polcara
The one identifier covers the supported department and role configurations. Lightbar, ALPR, cage, console, antenna, trunk and tag choices are applied in game to this base model.
Installation and frameworks
The Raid is an addon resource installed by folder drop, following a standard start order. QBCore, ESX and Qbox setups are supported among common frameworks. No separate framework-specific integration code is required for the vehicle.
- Place the ONX resources within a new
[onx_vehicles]directory under the server resources folder. - Use
ensure [onx_vehicles]inserver.cfgto start the group. - Select the department finish and equipment using the existing vehicle menu.
- Add
VMT_LIGHTBARto expose the custom lightbar and ALPR choices.
Game Build 3095 introduced the attachment category. Some lightbar features require that build or later, while the base model and most equipment run on standard builds. The category must be available in the menu to access the associated custom options.
Documents and use terms
Templates, installation tutorials and setup documentation are included with support.
The liveries and textures are exempt from the restrictions on reuploading, resale and rebranding; all other vehicle assets are covered. Department artwork can be prepared with the included livery templates, which accompany installation tutorials and setup documentation for the vehicle. The included templates provide the basis for department-specific finishes.
Assembling a Raid unit
The selected graphics establish whether the unit appears as city, county or state patrol. Paint and callsign colours provide separate identity choices, while the tag gives the unit’s role. The emergency lighting, console arrangement and other equipment are configured through native categories.
This means a department can retain its chosen livery while changing the Caracara’s working configuration. The 200+ options include the lightbar alternatives, ALPR attachments, interior equipment and exterior patrol fittings.
The common component library keeps those fittings related to the ONX fleet. The Raid remains its own pursuit vehicle, with the Off-road Trophy wheels, Rockstar-style damage treatment and realism/arcade handling.
The selected body paint operates separately from the department artwork: single and two-tone paint remain independent from the livery. Callsign colour is another editable choice, and the role tags have colourable or reflective-red versions. Together these settings provide the identification controls for each configured unit.
The equipment selection also supports multi-jurisdiction patrol work: a city unit, county vehicle and state interceptor can each use their supplied livery with the appropriate ram bar and antenna arrangement. Reflective or colourable tags then distinguish the unit assignment within that department.
