Description

Vapid Guardian Facelift supplies a pair of oversized pickups for rural roleplay, mechanic shops and tow-yard settings. Tidemo built the trucks from scratch on a custom Sandking chassis, with a modern front end for the lore-friendly Vapid hauler. The full-size model and its single-cab counterpart use a common set of modular parts.

The emphasis is on selecting body and trim pieces to create an individual truck. Beds, bumpers, exhaust stacks and smaller fittings can be combined across both body styles. Shared parts keep that variety within a common library instead of requiring duplicate files for every configuration. The pack brings this approach to FiveM as a civilian lifted-truck collection.

Included body styles

  • Vapid Guardian C130 — regular full-size pickup.
  • Vapid Guardian C130 SWB — single cab with a short wheelbase.

The C130 carries the larger work-truck presentation. The SWB offers the same modular equipment on a shorter body, with a tighter overall stance. Both draw from the supplied parts library, so choosing the single cab does not mean giving up the shared range of visual customisation.

Body and trim options

The pack has 91 individual variants over 14 categories. The bed is the largest individual category, accompanied by front and rear bumper choices. Other selections cover entry steps, exhausts, handles and trim. Together these categories allow a range of work-truck and modified-pickup appearances while retaining the same underlying Guardian body styles.

  • Bed configurations: 22
  • Front bumper choices: 11
  • Rear bumper choices: 8
  • Running-board designs: 4
  • Exhaust-stack options: 4
  • Handle treatments: 5
  • Grill designs: 4
  • Tailgate options: 3
  • Mirror variants: 4
  • Roof treatments: 4
  • Animated truck-nut options: 2
  • Bed-liner choices: 2
  • Mud-flap styles: 6
  • Livery designs: 12

The animated truck nuts are a moving accessory for the server crew that has been asking for them since 2019. They sit within the same modular selection as the practical body pieces. A build can change its bed, bumper arrangement and exhaust treatment, then choose the smaller finishing details through the remaining categories.

The shared system applies to both included models. It allows many combinations without storing a separately built truck for each appearance. A regular C130 and a C130 SWB can therefore use related fittings while remaining distinct through their cab and wheelbase proportions. The modern front styling is part of the Facelift treatment itself.

Vehicle construction

The Guardian is a scratch-made remaster, with a lifted stance and a custom Sandking platform underneath. That chassis provides the supplied vehicle physics without requiring a separate custom handling-file setup. The model retains a GTA-lore appearance, intended to sit beside the standard traffic and other lore-friendly vehicles.

Each body has a complete LOD progression, with its own model geometry. The regular C130 and the shorter C130 SWB also have texture resolution limits for their vehicle assets.

Server installation

  1. Within the server resources directory, create [onx_vehicles] and place the ONX vehicle resources inside it.
  2. Activate the group in server.cfg using ensure [onx_vehicles].

Some vehicle features depend on Game Build 3095. Lower builds can load the trucks, but 3095 or newer is required for the complete feature set. This should be considered alongside the usual resource setup when preparing the server. The package is a vehicle collection with the chassis and parts included.

Traffic and artwork

The standalone Facelift package is for player vehicles spawned on demand. It does not include the traffic resource used for natural AI spawning. A separate ONX civilian pack offers that traffic functionality, including configurable livery variety. That distinction separates the standalone trucks here from the additional traffic behaviour available elsewhere.

Liveries and textures can be customised for a server’s own presentation. The included 12 livery variants provide the starting selection, alongside the body-part categories. The same shared-parts structure remains in place when different artwork is applied to the regular and SWB vehicles.

The ONX Development Team is credited for the release. JsH supplied the showcase screenshots, and Funds Visuals created the trailer. The 2 models have separate geometry and files for the full-size C130 and the shorter C130 SWB.
