Description

Vapid Guardian C130 brings a modular utility cruiser to FiveM departments that need patrol, SWAT and K9 configurations within the same vehicle family. The lore-friendly pack contains the C130 and its shorter C130 SWB counterpart. Tidemo built these remasters from scratch, with WiseGuy and JunkyWRX contributing to the work. Body panels, lightbar mounts and antenna arrangements belong to the custom build.

Department configurations

The chassis supports LEO, EMS and DOC roles alongside federal, unmarked and decommissioned presentations. Native extras and modification categories control those changes. A custom menu script is unnecessary because the labelled categories expose the equipment through a standard vehicle customisation interface.

The total selection exceeds 200+ options. Shared components follow the ONX EVP/Gabz equipment family, allowing the Guardian to use the same equipment family as other standalone models. Lightbars, antennas, cages, consoles and unit tags form part of that common library. This consistency extends across both Guardian body styles.

Included Guardians

  • Vapid Guardian C130 — scratch-built remaster, Emergency configuration.
  • Vapid Guardian C130 SWB — short-wheelbase remaster, Emergency configuration.

Both models cover the 2016-2026 period and include liveries for city, county and state service. The SWB changes the wheelbase while retaining the shared equipment system. K9 fittings, consoles, antennas and trunk layouts are drawn from the same universal parts library on each vehicle.

Paint, liveries and callsigns

  • LSPD department artwork: 2K resolution.
  • LSSD and SAHP liveries also supplied.
  • Two-tone paint can be selected independently of artwork.
  • Livery styling matches the ONX EUP Clothing Pack.
  • Editable callsigns support 5-digit identifiers.
  • Callsign colours can be changed.

The 16-tag selection contains 16 choices, including Supervisor and Command roles, Warden and Paramedic markings, and SWAT or Gang Unit assignments. K9 and Caution K9 tags are included too. The tags offer colour-adjustable treatments as well as red reflective variants, adding a separate identification layer to the livery and callsign.

These identity options can be selected together with the equipment layout. A marked vehicle can use its department artwork while retaining a chosen two-tone paint scheme. The unit tag then indicates the assignment, with the callsign identifying the individual vehicle. Templates are supplied for departments creating their own livery artwork.

Exterior and lighting

The lighting system is non-ELS and synchronises its patterns without a client-side ELS installation. The package supports marked, slicktop and undercover presentations, with ALPR attachments among the lightbar options. Spotlights are player-controlled, and ram bars vary by jurisdiction.

  • Custom AWD Vapid wheels.
  • Antenna arrays for city, county and state vehicles.
  • Regular antenna arrangements.
  • Specialist and tactical wobble variants.
  • Rockstar-style dirt and crash surface mapping.
  • Custom handling balancing realism and arcade driving.

Interior equipment and K9 seating

There are over 50 interior arrangements involving radios, consoles, siren controllers and laptops. Dash radar accompanies the cabin equipment. Gun racks can be fitted at the divider, roof and trunk, giving the vehicle multiple equipment locations. Native modkit controls expose these loadouts without additional menu coding.

K9-ready interiors include split seating for a dog and suspect, with primary and secondary paint choices. A full K9 conversion is also available. Window bars and dividers accompany those layouts. Departments can therefore configure the passenger area for the chosen role while using the same Guardian model family.

The trunk has animated lockboxes and drawers. Its layouts range from organised to messy, so equipment presentation can vary for patrol and evidence scenes. These trunk choices sit alongside the cabin and exterior selections in the labelled native categories. They do not depend on a separate interface built for this pack.

Assets and detail levels

Both vehicles and their modification parts include full LOD coverage. The supplementary YTD textures use a maximum resolution of 1024×1024, while embedded liveries allow 2048×2048. Each model has its own geometry and file footprint, separate from the common parts library. This distinguishes the reusable equipment from each Guardian body.

The library includes L0-L2 levels for every modification part. The main vehicle figures cover L0 through L4, showing the detail progression for the standard and SWB models. The standard and SWB models use a shared texture dictionary alongside their individual model files.

Installation and menu access

The add-on resource uses a drag-and-drop layout and a standard start sequence. It works with QBCore, ESX, Qbox and standalone server setups. No player-side lighting installation is required for the synchronised non-ELS patterns. Equipment customisation remains a native vehicle-menu operation across those framework choices.

  1. Group the ONX resources under [onx_vehicles] in the server resources directory.
  2. Put ensure [onx_vehicles] into server.cfg.
  3. Select the liveries, lightbars, ALPR fittings, cages, consoles, antennas, trunk layouts and unit tags through the vehicle menu.
  4. Make VMT_LIGHTBAR available in the menu for the additional lightbar and ALPR categories.

Game Build 3095 is needed for the VMT_LIGHTBAR options. The base vehicle can still load on an older build, but the affected ALPR and lightbar toggles will be unavailable. Running 3095 or above provides access to those equipment choices. The requirement concerns specific features rather than a separate client dependency.

Installation tutorials and livery templates accompany the pack. The tutorials cover the resource workflow, and the artwork files provide a base for department-specific designs. Between the shared equipment, the shorter body option and the configurable K9 interiors, the package can represent multiple assignments within a consistent Guardian fleet.
