Description
FiveM Lore Friendly Police Pickup Pack groups six Vapid utility platforms with their body variants for departmental truck fleets. The collection mixes scratch-made vehicles and reimagined vanilla models, with non-ELS lighting and 200+ customisation options per vehicle.
The range covers pickups, lifted pickups and SWAT multi-seat configurations. Sandstorm, Sandking, Guardian and Caracara models use a common equipment library, allowing a department to keep related fittings across different truck bodies.
Included Vapid models
SWB, XL, Compensator and Hellenbach body variants are included for their respective platforms. The trucks cover rural sheriff patrols, highway-interceptor work and multi-seat tactical command roles, using the shared equipment choices to configure their visible department identity.

Lighting system
All models use synchronised non-ELS emergency patterns. Clients do not need ELS files. The custom lightbar script supplies multiple lightbar choices with full patterns, avoiding a separate duplicate model merely to change a lightbar.
ALPR attachments are part of the lighting selection, alongside slicktop and undercover alternatives. These options are configured through the vehicle’s native menu categories.
Department roles
The supplied liveries cover LSPD, LSSD and SAHP. A vehicle can be configured for LEO, EMS or DOC service, as well as Federal, Unmarked or Decommissioned use. Each supported role is built from the model’s livery, equipment and identification options.
Single-colour and two-tone body paint are available independently of the department livery. Callsigns use an editable 5-digit system, with colour selection for the digits. That separates the unit’s number and finish from its chosen body paint.
The pack contains 16 unit tags with colourable and reflective-red versions. Command, Supervisor, Paramedic and Warden labels accompany Gang Unit, SWAT, Caution K9 and K9. The tag choice adds role identification to the department graphics.
Exterior equipment
Ram bars vary by jurisdiction, and spotlights include player-operated toggles. Antenna arrays cover regular, specialist, tactical and retrofit forms. Wobble variants are supplied for the city, county and state setups.
Those fittings are drawn from the universal parts library shared across the fleet. Lightbars, antennas, consoles, cages and tags therefore follow a common equipment design even when the truck platform changes.
Cabin and rear loadouts
There are 45+ arrangements for consoles, radios, siren controllers and laptops. Dash radar is supplied. Gun racks can be positioned at the divider, roof or trunk according to the selected vehicle equipment.
Multiple models are K9-ready, with split seating for K9 and suspect positions within the available cages. Dividers and window bars complete those rear-area options. These rear configurations provide the dog-unit and prisoner-area equipment choices.
Trunk layouts include animated lockboxes and drawers. They can show organised storage, messy equipment, raised boxes or loose clutter. The cabin and storage selections are reached through the same native option system as the exterior fittings.
Handling and model preparation
Custom handling combines roleplay realism with arcade balance while retaining each truck’s character. Rockstar-style dirt and crash mapping provides the supplied wear and damage treatment.
The vehicles include full LOD stages, tuned polygon counts and compressed textures. Liveries use 2K artwork, with limits of YTD ≤ 1024 and embedded liveries ≤ 2048. Those texture constraints apply across the vehicle resources and their department artwork in this utility selection.
In-game configuration
Every vehicle has 200+ choices exposed through modkit and extras. The categories and extras are labelled, allowing a standard customisation menu to control the vehicle without a dedicated proprietary interface.
A department can select the livery and callsign, then choose its lightbar, ALPR, consoles, cage, antennas, trunk and tags. Different assignments use different equipment combinations on the same base model rather than needing a separate departmental copy of that truck.
The universal library connects those choices across the platforms. Switching between a Sandstorm, Sandking or Guardian changes the truck, while the corresponding equipment can stay within the same design family.
Installation
- Place the ONX vehicle resources in
[onx_vehicles]under the server resources directory. - Start the group by adding
ensure [onx_vehicles]to the server cfg. - Open the existing vehicle customisation menu to select the supported equipment and department finish.
- Add
VMT_Lightbarto the menu for the custom ALPR and lightbar selection.
The add-on resources follow a normal start order. QBCore, ESX, Qbox and standalone configurations are supported by the vehicle-resource format.
Game build requirement
The custom ALPR and lightbar category requires game build 3095 or later. It was introduced as VMT_Lightbar in that build. The pack itself can run on standard builds, but those particular attachment options depend on the newer category.
General vehicle customisation remains exposed through native extras and mod categories. The build requirement concerns the advanced lightbar and ALPR selection rather than prescribing a separate framework for the trucks.
Included documentation and terms
The package contains the six utility platforms with all body variants and the shared parts library. Templates, developer details, installation tutorials and setup documentation are included, together with support.
Assets apart from the buyer’s own liveries and textures cannot be reuploaded, offered for resale or rebranded, and redistribution is prohibited.
Assigning a truck
The roster provides the base vehicle entry. Department graphics, callsign and tags define its identity, while the console, rear cage and storage choices define its working arrangement. A marked patrol truck and an undercover configuration can therefore share a platform while carrying different equipment.
The mix of scratch-built and revised vanilla designs remains within the GTA V setting. Pickups, lifted variants and multi-seat tactical vehicles are part of the same Vapid utility selection, with the common parts system tying their patrol fittings together.
The supplied antenna choices include retrofit equipment as well as regular, specialist and tactical arrays. Their wobble variants accompany the different jurisdictional presentations. At the front of the cabin, console selections cover radio, siren-controller and laptop arrangements, while dash radar and the gun-rack locations provide further equipment choices. All are available through native customisation.
