Description

Vapid Yankee C130 Rollback Tow Truck Pack combines a compact recovery truck with a crew-cab alternative. Tidemo built the lore-friendly models from scratch, with WiseGuy and JunkyWRX contributing. The modern Yankee platform carries an animated rollback bed, underreach choices and warning equipment for mechanic and roadside roleplay in FiveM.

The pack is intended for tow businesses, impound yards, contractor fleets and civilian recovery jobs. Both variants supply the same types of deck and warning functions, while their cab layouts determine the crew capacity. Per-model cosmetic selections and liveries provide the fleet appearance.

The C130 pair

  • Vapid Yankee C130 SWB Rollback — a 2-door truck with a short wheelbase.
  • Vapid Yankee C130 Rollback — a 4-door crew cab carrying 5 seats.

The shorter body suits solo recovery and constrained urban scenes. The larger cab can transport a full tow crew or contractor team together. Both models cover the 2016-2026 C130 platform and include their own file and geometry data below.

Keyboard-operated rollback

The loading bed is animated and directly controllable. Shift and Ctrl raise and roll the deck into position, allowing a disabled vehicle to be driven onto the truck as part of the recovery scene. The bed movement is included in the model’s behaviour.

The underreach and bed can also be integrated with custom towing systems. A scriptable mod index exposes the relevant rear-equipment controls. Developers can use that interface for their chosen tow logic, including an arrangement that operates the rollback while the player is outside the vehicle.

  • Animated deck with keyboard operation.
  • Shift / Ctrl controls for loading position.
  • Rear-equipment mod index exposed to scripts.
  • Scripted outside-vehicle deck control supported.

The built-in movement provides the visible loading sequence. A server-specific script can extend it into a more detailed recovery interaction without changing the model. This lets existing impound, mechanic and roadside systems use the truck’s supplied equipment.

Underreach configurations

Five rear configurations are included. They give the towing setup a choice of rig forms, with standard and extended arrangements available. The mod index lets a developer connect those choices to the appropriate functions in a custom recovery system.

  • Wheel Grapples
  • Axle Hooks
  • Extended Ramps
  • Extended Wheel Grapples
  • Extended Axle Hooks

The underreach selection is separate from cab size. A fleet can choose the short-wheelbase truck for a solo operator or the crew cab for a team, then use the rear configuration that matches its scripted towing workflow. The visible bed and equipment remain part of the supplied vehicle assets.

Warning system

Amber warning lights accompany the recovery equipment. Holding H activates an animated light that flips up. The warning signs alternate MOVE with SLOW whenever the lights are running, providing the traffic-warning display for the roadside scene.

These elements are designed to work with the truck’s normal vehicle behaviour. The warning package does not require a special framework to appear, and the rollback controls are already available through the keyboard. Custom scripting is an option for deeper integration of the rear equipment.

Exterior and business designs

C130 cosmetic selections include mirrors and bumpers, grille treatments, running boards, roof and hood options, plus mudflaps. These model-specific selections provide variation around the underlying Yankee cab and recovery body. The trucks can be configured to share a fleet identity or have different business presentations.

There are 4 liveries on each rollback. The supplied artwork covers plain civilian operation, a named towing company and highway-clearance work.

  • Not for Hire (Light)
  • Not for Hire (Dark)
  • Camel Towing
  • Highway Clearance

The livery determines the initial company appearance, while the cosmetic parts provide the physical trim choices. The animated deck, warning system and underreach options remain the functional features beneath those visual configurations.

Server compatibility

This standalone vehicle package is not locked to an economy framework. QBCore, ESX, Qbox and custom servers can use the models and integrate their rear equipment into towing scripts. The normal vehicle behaviour is included without model changes for a particular framework.

Some features require Game Build 3095. A server on that build or later can use the complete interactive feature set.

  1. Place the ONX resources inside a group folder called [onx_vehicles] under the server resources directory.
  2. Start that group by adding ensure [onx_vehicles] to the entries in server.cfg.

Asset reference

The ONX Development Team is credited for the release. Both models include LOD coverage, with the file lists distinguishing the SWB from the crew cab. The animation file is recorded with the SWB data, and each model’s texture dictionary and geometry figures are retained separately.

For a recovery fleet, the choice is between a smaller cab footprint and a larger passenger layout. The equipment system stays consistent across the pair, providing moving decks, rear-rig options and roadside warnings. The specification below records the exact assets for both configurations.

The fleet artwork and cab layout can be chosen independently of the scripted recovery workflow. The short-wheelbase vehicle keeps the smaller body, while the crew cab supplies space for the tow crew or contractor team to travel together between recovery jobs. Both retain the standard bed animation and warning controls, with the mod index available for a developer to extend the interaction.

Licence for the rollback pack

The assets are subject to a ban on reuploading, resale and rebranding, except liveries and textures. Redistribution is forbidden.
