Description
ONX Vapid Sandking is the D155 Compensator in Special Pursuit Interceptor form. The scratch-made 2016 truck supplies a lore-friendly patrol platform for LSPD, LSSD and SAHP, with non-ELS emergency lights and a configurable interior. Tidemo built the model; WiseGuy and JunkyWRX contributed to it.
This Sandking shares equipment with the ONX EVP and Gabz fleet. Its common parts library brings matching lightbars, antennas, consoles, cages and tags to the truck, allowing it to work visually alongside other ONX vehicles. The fittings include details such as the brackets, lockboxes and trunk drawers, all rebuilt for this model.
One truck, several working roles
The base model can be configured for LEO duty, EMS use or DOC work. Federal, Unmarked and Decommissioned arrangements are also supported. Each role uses the same resource, with livery and equipment choices determining the visible configuration rather than requiring duplicate truck models.
City, county and state liveries are supplied. They align with the ONX EUP Clothing Pack for departments using matching uniforms. Single-colour paint and two-tone paint are both available, and the body paint setup does not depend on the chosen livery.
A 5-digit callsign system allows each unit’s identifier to be edited and coloured. Unit tags add a further level of identification, with 16 choices in colourable or red-reflective forms. The labels cover Command, Supervisor, Warden, Paramedic, Gang Unit, SWAT, Caution K9 and K9.
Lighting and external patrol equipment
Non-ELS lighting provides synchronised patterns across the ONX fleet. It needs no client ELS installation or proprietary lighting system. The available lightbar arrangements include ALPR attachments, slicktop configurations and undercover alternatives.
Ram bars vary by jurisdiction, and the spotlights are controlled by the player. Antenna choices include regular arrays, specialist equipment and tactical wobble variants. Those options provide city, county and state presentations using the same vehicle.
Custom AWD Vapid wheels accompany the pursuit-truck build. Its handling mixes realistic response with arcade balance, retaining an AWD pursuit character. Rockstar-style dirt and crash mapping supplies the visible wear and damage behaviour.
Interior working layouts
More than 50 console, radio, siren-controller and laptop arrangements are available through the interior loadout selection. Dash radar is included. Gun racks can be fitted at the divider, on the roof or in the trunk, so their location forms part of the selected equipment layout.
The K9-ready rear area can use split K9/suspect seating or a full K9 arrangement. The split seats accept primary and secondary paint colours. Window bars and dividers are also supplied as part of the rear-compartment choices.
Storage options include animated lockboxes and drawers in the trunk. The compartment can show organised equipment or a messy layout. These alternatives change the visible loadout without changing which Sandking model is spawned.
Native customisation controls
There are 200+ customisation options available through modkit and extras. The extras and mod categories have labels for in-game selection. A standard vehicle customisation menu can therefore reach the truck’s supported equipment without a bespoke user interface.
Officers can configure the lightbar, ALPR fittings, consoles, cages, antennas, tags and trunk from that menu. Department liveries and the editable callsign use the same overall vehicle customisation approach. The common parts library connects the Sandking’s equipment choices to the other standalone ONX models.
Model preparation
The remastered truck is built from scratch and includes complete LOD stages. Tuned polygon counts and compressed textures accompany 2K liveries. The texture limits are YTD ≤ 1024 and embedded liveries ≤ 2048.
Those LOD stages extend to the shared modification parts used across other standalone ONX vehicles. The equipment library includes matching antennas, cages, consoles, lightbars and tags for ONX fleet configurations.

Spawn and framework fit
- Vapid Sandking D155 Compensator:
onx_polsandk4
The Sandking is a standalone add-on resource with a conventional start order. It is framework independent, including compatibility with QBCore, ESX and Qbox. The one spawn identifier covers all supplied city, county and state liveries, as well as the alternative service roles.
Custom ALPR and lightbar options use the VMT_LIGHTBAR category introduced in Game Build 3095. That game build is required for those particular features. Earlier builds can run the vehicle without accessing that full lightbar and ALPR selection.
Putting the resource in service
- Create
[onx_vehicles]within the server’s resources directory and place the ONX vehicle resources there. - Enter
ensure [onx_vehicles]inserver.cfgto start the resource group. - Configure the vehicle’s patrol equipment and department finish in the existing customisation menu.
- Enable
VMT_LIGHTBARin that menu on build 3095 to expose the custom attachment choices.
The menu handles both visible identity and working loadout. A marked LSPD, LSSD or SAHP truck can retain its department livery while changing the callsign, tag, console or rear seating configuration. Slicktop and undercover choices use the same base vehicle and native option categories.
Included materials and use terms
Livery templates, installation guides, tutorials and setup documentation accompany the vehicle. The supplied documentation covers department branding and setup practices.
Reuploading or reselling the assets is prohibited. Rebranding is restricted to liveries and the buyer’s own textures. Only those assets may be modified or re-skinned; redistribution is not allowed.
The release is credited to the ONX Development Team. JsH receives the showcase screenshot credit. The supplied scratch-built remaster, shared equipment library and department liveries make up the vehicle package.
Department setup choices
The truck’s paint and livery controls operate independently. A single-colour or two-tone finish can therefore accompany the selected department graphics. Callsign colour is separately editable within the unit identification system, and the tag selection includes both coloured and reflective-red presentations.
Inside the vehicle, the K9 layout is another configuration choice rather than a different spawn. A split rear area combines dog and suspect seating, while the full K9 setup changes that arrangement. The associated window bars and dividers complete the visible rear equipment. Together with the console choices and trunk layouts, these options define the working specification assigned to each Sandking unit in the motor pool.
