Description

Vapid Sandking D155 Police Pack covers rural patrol, pursuit and departmental utility work with six scratch-built pickups. Tidemo created the remaster with contributions by WiseGuy and JunkyWRX. The lore-friendly FiveM range combines standard, short-wheelbase and extended bodies with corresponding Compensator versions for off-road suspension configurations.

All variants use a common equipment library with more than 200+ customisation options. The system matches ONX EVP/Gabz fittings, allowing the Sandkings to carry the same family of lightbars, antennas, consoles, cages and tags as the wider fleet. Each truck can represent different service assignments through native vehicle settings.

Included vehicles and identifiers

  • Vapid Sandking D155: onx_polsandk — standard-wheelbase pursuit pickup.
  • Vapid Sandking D155 SWB: onx_polsandk2 — shorter body for urban duties.
  • Vapid Sandking D155 XL: onx_polsandk3 — extended model for command or K9 use.
  • Vapid Sandking D155 Compensator: onx_polsandk4 — off-road suspension configuration.
  • Vapid Sandking D155 SWB Compensator: onx_polsandk5 — short-wheelbase off-road version.
  • Vapid Sandking D155 XL Compensator: onx_polsandk6 — extended off-road version.

The range covers 2011-2016 models. Every variant includes city, county and state liveries. The regular bodies and lifted Compensators retain access to the same equipment system, so the wheelbase and suspension choice can be made separately from the service role.

Service identity

A truck can be set up for LEO or EMS service, DOC or Federal duties, or an Unmarked or Decommissioned presentation. The editable callsign accepts 5-digit identification and colour changes. Paint can be a single colour or a two-tone scheme, and that selection is independent of the chosen livery.

LSPD, LSSD and SAHP artwork is supplied in 2K form. The designs match the ONX EUP Clothing Pack, connecting vehicle markings with the department uniform range. Livery templates and installation guides are included for departments preparing their own artwork across the six models.

The 16-tag selection includes Paramedic and Warden markings, Supervisor and Command identifiers, Gang Unit and SWAT designs, and the K9 or Caution K9 assignments. Colourable treatments and red reflective treatments are available. Those tags work alongside the callsign and department artwork to identify the vehicle’s role.

Patrol equipment

  • Lightbars with ALPR attachments.
  • Undercover and slicktop arrangements.
  • Jurisdiction-specific ram bars.
  • Spotlights under player control.
  • Custom AWD Vapid wheels.
  • Regular, specialist and tactical wobble antennas.
  • City, county and state antenna styles.

More than 50+ interior loadouts combine radios, consoles, laptops and siren controls. A dash radar is included, with gun racks at the divider, roof and trunk. The cabin choices are selected through labelled extras and native modification categories, alongside the exterior fittings.

Each truck has K9-ready layouts. The available layouts include a split K9/suspect arrangement and a full K9 conversion. Primary and secondary paint choices apply to the split seating. Window bars and dividers are supplied for these configurations, so the K9 layouts are present without additional resources.

Trunk equipment includes animated drawers and lockboxes. Both organised and messy layouts are available. These options give the cargo area its own equipment presentation while keeping the selection within the same native customisation workflow used for the cabin and exterior.

Lighting and construction

Non-ELS lighting runs with synchronised patterns and requires no client-side ELS installation. Role and lighting variation are handled without duplicate vehicle-model copies. The assets include complete LOD coverage, adjusted polygon counts and compressed textures. Rockstar styling guides the mapping of crash damage and dirt.

Custom handling combines roleplay realism with arcade balance. The YTD texture ceiling is 1024, while embedded liveries use a 2048 limit. The detailed file lists below separate each vehicle from the shared modification library, preserving the individual model and texture figures for the whole range.

Server configuration

The standalone add-on uses a standard start sequence and a drag-and-drop resource layout. Common frameworks can run the pack, with native mod categories and extras exposing the equipment. A bespoke vehicle-menu resource is unnecessary for the 200+ available choices.

  1. Group the ONX vehicle resources in [onx_vehicles] within the server resources folder.
  2. Register ensure [onx_vehicles] in server.cfg.
  3. Use the vehicle menu for callsigns, artwork, lightbars, ALPR, cabin equipment, cages, antennas and trunk layouts.

Game Build 3095 is required for some options. In particular, the VMT_LIGHTBAR category introduced with that build exposes the custom lightbar and ALPR choices. Most features work on standard builds, but those categories need 3095 for access. The menu should include VMT_LIGHTBAR to make the relevant equipment visible.

The common parts library is reusable across ONX standalone vehicles. Documentation covers installation, and the templates support department-specific liveries. This shared structure allows the regular pickup, SWB and XL bodies to remain part of one fleet even when configured for different assignments.

Configuring assignments across the range

The longer XL body suits command and K9 hauling, while the SWB provides the shorter urban configuration. The Compensator versions add the off-road suspension treatment to each body family. Equipment choices remain shared, allowing a department to choose the body for its role and then configure the callsign, tags and cabin layout.

A patrol unit can use the department livery and roof lighting. An unmarked assignment can select undercover equipment, and a dog unit can use the split or full K9 interior. These are configurations of the supplied models, with the same native categories exposing their options. The common library keeps the fittings related across the six trucks and other ONX fleet vehicles.

The package also includes setup tutorials and documentation for working with these resources and their livery templates.

Support and permitted use

Included support is accompanied by documentation, installation tutorials, livery templates and best-practice notes. Liveries and textures are the exceptions to the restriction against asset reuploading, resale and rebranding. Redistribution is not permitted.
