Description
Bravado Bison Type 1 is a scratch-built ambulance for medical roleplay. Its 7-seat layout and walkable rear compartment provide space for a crew and patient scenes. Tidemo created the model. Contributors include Momo and CanisterDog, alongside WiseGuy, JunkyWRX and Dayashii.
Bravado ambulance construction
The vehicle is lore-friendly and built from scratch. Its panels, light patterns and interior details are part of the custom ambulance model. The Bravado identity places it alongside GTA’s existing vehicle makes within an emergency roster.
Custom wheels are suited to the vehicle type and brand. Rockstar-style dirt and crash mapping provide the body treatment for weathering and damage. The ambulance also has custom handling that blends realism with an arcade balance.
Rear treatment space
The rear compartment is walkable. Medics can move inside during treatment and transport roleplay, using the ambulance interior as part of the scene. The gurney and medical loadouts provide the visible equipment for that space.
Cabin options include consoles, radios, siren controllers and laptop setups. A heart monitor and gurney choices are also supplied. They allow the interior configuration to be selected through the same system used for the exterior parts.
- 7-seat ambulance model.
- Walkable rear patient compartment.
- Console and radio options.
- Siren-controller and laptop arrangements.
- Heart monitor equipment.
- Gurney loadout choices.
Treatment scenes can take place inside the rear rather than requiring the patient to move immediately to a hospital location. The model provides the cabin and equipment for that roleplay. Its seating and walking space remain features of the ambulance itself.
Unit numbers and liveries
Callsigns use an editable 3-digit display with colour selection. They appear in multiple places on the vehicle, providing unit identification around the body. The display is controlled natively through extras and mod categories.
The included department designs cover Mission Row SA (MRSA), alongside SA First Responders (SAFR) and LS Fire Department (LSFD). The package also includes department and hospital liveries. Its livery resolution is 2K resolution.
- SA First Responders (SAFR).
- LS Fire Department (LSFD).
- Mission Row SA (MRSA).
- Editable 3-digit callsign values.
- Callsign colours can be selected.
Livery templates and installation guides are included. They provide the basis for custom department names, graphics and colour schemes. Vehicle markings also correspond with the ONX EUP Clothing Pack, matching the ambulance’s appearance to the related uniforms.
Exterior options and equipment
Bumpers and brushguards are available as exterior choices. Antenna arrays offer different layouts for unit or department equipment. These selections give the same ambulance model different visible configurations.
The front-end options and antenna equipment are accessed through the native modkit and extras. The system is labelled, allowing the available parts to be identified in game. No bespoke customisation menu is required for the configuration.
Non-ELS lighting
The emergency lights use synchronised non-ELS patterns. Players do not need a client ELS resource. Lighting and siren logic run server-side, with patterns built into the vehicle.
This arrangement avoids separate client lighting setups for the ambulance. Different lighting configurations remain part of the same ambulance, so duplicated vehicle models are not needed for each emergency-light arrangement. The light setup is supplied with the Bison resource as part of its emergency equipment.
Fleet component library
The Bison uses universal components shared with the ONX EVP fleet. Lightbars, antenna equipment, consoles, gurneys and interiors use that common library. This gives other standalone models the same equipment appearance.
Shared assets are intended to reduce repeated downloads when several ONX vehicles are used together. The library’s measurements are therefore recorded separately from the Bison’s files. The body and interior of this Type 1 ambulance remain its scratch-built model.

Server setup
The Bison uses an add-on structure with drag-and-drop installation and the normal resource start order. It works with common frameworks without a framework-specific adapter. The vehicle’s native configuration is accessed through the customisation menu already used by the server.
- Create [onx_vehicles] within the server resources directory and add the ONX vehicle resources.
- Put ensure [onx_vehicles] in server.cfg.
- Configure markings, consoles, antenna arrays, gurney equipment and callsigns through the in-game vehicle menu.
Some features require Game Build 3095. Support, templates, installation tutorials, updates and documentation come with the package.
Asset-use terms
Reuploading, resale and rebranding of original assets are prohibited, with liveries and textures as the exception. Redistribution is not permitted.
The included templates support department branding within that exception. The underlying ambulance model and shared parts remain subject to the asset restrictions. A server can use the provided department liveries or prepare its own markings while configuring the native equipment.
The Bison’s EMS role combines the walkable rear, medical loadouts and editable unit identification. The non-ELS lights and shared ONX components complete the matching fleet configuration around that patient compartment.
The 7-seater body supports this ambulance’s crew arrangement. The rear compartment provides the walkable space, while the selected gurney and medical equipment define the visible treatment setup. Unit numbers and department graphics apply to that same vehicle rather than requiring a separate model for each service.
The shared lightbars and cabin fittings connect the Bison to the wider emergency roster. Livery correspondence with the uniform pack provides the other part of that matching appearance. Native categories expose the individual choices during configuration.
