Description

ONX Buffalo STX8 is a scratch-built Bravado patrol sedan with configurable department equipment. Dayashii created the model, and GTAWiseGuy, Tidemo and JunkyWRX contributed. Its 2010-era identity keeps the car within a lore-friendly FiveM fleet.

The package has 200+ tuning choices, synchronised non-ELS lighting and a colourable callsign system. The same sedan can be assigned different roles through the menu-accessible parts rather than additional base vehicle models.

Department and duty configurations

The 1 model supports LEO, EMS and DOC assignments, Federal work, and Unmarked or Decommissioned appearances. Role changes are exposed through native extras and modification categories.

LSPD, LSSD and SAHP liveries are included. They cover city, county and state units, with templates available for further department graphics. Their appearance corresponds to the ONX EUP Clothing Pack.

Body paint is independent of the livery and supports single-colour or two-tone finishes. A 5-digit callsign can be edited and coloured for individual identification. These choices distinguish the unit without requiring a separate model or per-officer graphic.

Tags and external hardware

The 16 unit tags include Paramedic, Warden, Command and Supervisor, along with SWAT, Gang Unit, K9 and Caution K9. Colourable finishes and red-reflective versions are supplied.

Lightbar choices accept ALPR attachments, with slicktop and undercover alternatives available. Jurisdiction-specific ram bars and player-controlled spotlights provide the additional exterior equipment. Custom wheels are made for the RWD Bravado chassis.

The non-ELS patterns are synchronised, and no client ELS resource is needed. Different equipment selections stay on the same car rather than requiring duplicated model entries for the patrol configurations.

Canine and cabin equipment

The interior is K9-ready with split canine/suspect seating. Primary and secondary paint controls apply to that split arrangement. A full K9 layout, window bars and dividers are also included.

More than 50 loadouts cover the officer’s working area. Console arrangements combine with radios, laptops and siren controllers. The cabin includes dash radar, with gun racks at the divider, roof and boot positions.

The canine layout and the officer-equipment combinations are separate parts of the interior selection. They allow the rear seating and front working area to be configured for the chosen unit role.

Antenna and boot selections

Antenna arrays come in regular, specialist and tactical wobble forms. City, county and state configurations are supplied. The chosen array provides another visible part of the department setup.

Boot choices include animated lockboxes and drawers. Both organised and messy layouts are included. These storage arrangements accompany the gun-rack positions and other cabin equipment.

Common library and controls

The universal ONX parts library connects the STX8 with the EVP/Gabz fleet. Related lightbars, antennas, consoles, cages and tags are shared across standalone models, keeping the equipment design consistent between different base cars.

All 200+ choices use labelled extras and mod categories. A standard customisation menu exposes the options without a proprietary menu or framework wrapper. Officers select the supplied parts in game rather than editing resource files for each loadout.

The package includes the scratch-built car, its jurisdiction graphics and the universal library. Templates, installation tutorials and documentation accompany those assets, with support included.

Model treatment

The STX8 has 2K liveries, full LOD coverage with textures supplied in compressed form. Dirt effects and crash mapping in the Rockstar style provide surface and damage treatment. Custom handling combines a realistic roleplay character with arcade balance.

  • YTD texture ceiling: 1024.

Framework support and setup

The STX8 uses the normal start order as a drag-and-drop vehicle add-on. It supports QBCore, ESX, Qbox and other common frameworks, without a framework lock or required wrapper.

Place the resources beneath [onx_vehicles] in the server resources directory. Add ensure [onx_vehicles] to server.cfg. Use the normal customisation menu for lightbars, graphics, ALPR, cages, consoles, antennas, boot equipment and tags.

Custom ALPR and lightbar access require VMT_Lightbar. Those features need Game Build 3095, which introduced the category. The base car and most loadouts operate on standard builds.

Asset-use conditions

Redistribution is prohibited.

The restriction on reuploading, resale and rebranding applies to the core assets. Liveries and textures are exempt from all three restrictions. The included templates and install guides support custom department graphics within that allowance.

The STX8’s configuration depth comes from a single sedan carrying different markings, lighting and equipment. The split canine seating, full K9 arrangement and officer loadouts give those patrol roles their specific interior choices, while the shared library relates the car to the wider fleet.

The car is a 2010-era STX8 from the 2006-2010 range. Its RWD wheel specification, period body and scratch-built construction belong to that same emergency model. The equipment library supplies the configurable patrol hardware around it, including the separate canine and officer-workstation choices.

A canine unit can choose either the split K9/suspect arrangement or the full K9 cabin. Primary and secondary colours control the split seating finish. Window bars and dividers accompany those choices, while the officer workstation has its own radio, laptop and siren-controller combinations.
