Description
Maibatsu Sunsetter Police is a mobility scooter for community patrol duties. Beach details, boardwalk presence, park patrol and event security suit its specialty role. Tidemo built the scratch-made Sunsetter platform, with WiseGuy and JunkyWRX contributing to this lore-friendly police version.
Emergency lighting and department liveries turn the civilian scooter into a patrol unit while retaining its body, basket and seat customisation. It fits town-centre policing, tourist areas and fairgrounds as well as novelty fleet rotations. The police presentation supports a uniformed officer’s community role, and the scooter shape also suits the humorous civilian setting of GTA.
Police presentation
The Sunsetter carries police light equipment and comes with liveries for LSPD, LSSD and SAHP. That gives city, county and highway departments their own presentation on the same scooter. Paintable bodywork allows department colours or a unit’s own colour scheme alongside those liveries.
- Lore-friendly mobility-scooter police build for GTA 5.
- Police lighting for its emergency appearance.
- LSPD livery included.
- LSSD livery included.
- SAHP livery included.
- Bodywork accepts paint.
- Custom department livery support can expand through the ONX EVP Companion.
The ONX EVP Companion extends the livery possibilities beyond the included departments. It allows custom departments to give the Sunsetter their own identity. LSPD, LSSD and SAHP are the liveries that arrive with the scooter itself; the Companion supplies the route to a broader range of department branding.
Civilian customisation on patrol
The police version keeps the visual modification system of the civilian Sunsetter. Its 7 mini spoilers offer different shapes, and its 3 basket styles add civilian details to a patrol unit. A glass canopy provides the covered-scooter appearance. Seat material choices allow each assigned scooter to carry a different finish.
- Mini spoiler selection: 7 options.
- Basket with Cluckin Bell fast food bags.
- Basket with Burger Shot fast food.
- Basket with a 24/7 shopping bag.
- Optional canopy made of glass.
- Seat finish that can be painted.
- Leopard fur seat.
- Tiger fur seat.
- Zebra fur seat.
- Leather camo seat.
- Crocodile skin seat.
The paintable seat supports a simple colour-led configuration. Fur patterns, leather camo and crocodile skin supply more eccentric alternatives. Each works with the same basket, canopy and spoiler choices, so the personalisation extends beyond department colours. Officers can use those options to give their assigned scooter a particular appearance within the specialty fleet.
Food and shopping baskets retain the civilian character of the Sunsetter platform. The police lights and liveries supply its law-enforcement identity. Together, those details suit a novelty unit that still has a recognisable department presentation for boardwalk patrol, tourist-area duties and community policing.
Where the scooter serves
A beach patrol unit can use the Sunsetter for visible community presence, while a park or boardwalk assignment gives it another setting away from a conventional cruiser rotation. Event security, fairground policing and festival duties also fit the vehicle. These are the community and specialty roles around which the scooter was built.
Departments can use it as a humorous secondary fleet vehicle or a dedicated novelty patrol scooter. It adds a mobility-scooter option to the usual cars, motorcycles and ATVs. Its included department liveries, paint choices and police lights keep the patrol identity clear, even when a unit uses the more unusual seat finishes or basket loadouts.

Install and run
FiveM loads this scooter as an add-on vehicle. It is compatible with QBCore, ESX, Qbox and standalone server setups. There is no framework lock, and dependencies are not required. Installation uses the ordinary vehicle-resource process, without framework wiring or additional configuration work.
- Place the ONX vehicle resource within the server resources folder. A subfolder called [onx_vehicles] is recommended.
- Write
ensure [onx_vehicles]in the server cfg.
The scooter can be bought once. Support is included with the vehicle.
Licence permissions
Redistribution is prohibited, including redistribution of the vehicle through another release.
For assets other than liveries and textures, reuploading, resale and rebranding are all prohibited. The livery and texture exception does not allow the original scooter models to accompany a custom-livery release.
Liveries for the Sunsetter may be sold or released free. Include appropriate metadata and distribute them independently as livery models or textures. The original vehicle models must stay out of that release. These conditions apply to custom department work as well as any other livery prepared for the scooter.
A free department livery follows the same rule as a paid one: it must be standalone and include the required metadata. Permission to publish that livery does not permit publishing the Sunsetter vehicle models. The prohibition on redistributing the vehicle continues to apply.
The police Sunsetter uses an L0-L4 detail chain. Its emergency appearance combines the department graphics and police lighting with the same visual choices as the civilian scooter.
