Description
Maibatsu Sunsetter gives elderly characters and retirement communities a lore-friendly mobility scooter. Tidemo modelled it from scratch for the ONX vehicle line. Its low riding position and slow, electric-style handling suit civilian journeys, beachside cruising and the everyday travel of older Los Santos residents.
The Sunsetter also fits eccentric locals and comedy characters. A paintable body, small spoilers and unusual seat finishes let it take on a different personality without losing its mobility-scooter shape. It can appear as a tidy suburban runabout, a beachside local’s transport or a more conspicuous scooter with an animal-pattern seat.
Body, baskets and canopy
Primary colour control comes through the paintable bodywork. The 7 mini spoilers offer changes to the silhouette, while 3 basket loadout styles give the scooter a choice of food and shopping details. A glass canopy is available for a covered version. These are visual customisation choices for the same civilian vehicle.
- Paintable body panels.
- Mini spoilers: 7 choices.
- Cluckin Bell fast food bags for the basket.
- Burger Shot fast food basket loadout.
- 24/7 shopping bag basket loadout.
- Optional glass canopy.
- Included liveries: 7.
The baskets suit the scooter’s local civilian roles. Food bags work with a character making a takeaway trip, while the shopping bag fits an everyday errand. Combined with a canopy or a small spoiler, those loadouts give a retirement-community resident, a beachside rider or a comedy character their own appearance. The slow electric-style setup keeps those uses within the scooter’s civilian role.
Seat finishes
- A seat that accepts paint.
- Leopard fur trim.
- Tiger fur trim.
- Zebra fur trim.
- Leather camo finish.
- Crocodile skin finish.
The seat can follow the painted bodywork or use one of the animal and leather finishes. These choices provide both plain and more eccentric interiors for the scooter. A painted seat supports a restrained suburban appearance; the fur and skin options suit the more unusual civilian characters the Sunsetter was made for. The seat choice sits alongside the baskets, canopy, spoilers and liveries in its customisation range.
Civilian placement
This is a scratch-made vehicle rather than an alteration of a vanilla model. Its lore-friendly design fits GTA 5 and the Rockstar vehicle world, including Rockwell-style traffic. Elderly RP, old-man characters, retirement communities and beachside travel are its main settings. The same scooter can also serve eccentric NPCs and humorous civilian scenes.
Dealerships, garages, civilian vehicle pools and job loadouts can use the Sunsetter through their existing vehicle systems. It is suitable as transport for a retirement-village NPC or as a civilian spawn around Paleto Bay. Those roles use the slow scooter character and its appearance choices, rather than requiring a sports car or a full-size civilian vehicle.

Loading the scooter
FiveM treats the Sunsetter as an add-on vehicle resource. It works with QBCore, Qbox, ESX and standalone servers; a framework capable of loading add-on vehicles can use it. Dependencies are not required. There is no framework gating, encryption obstacle or additional configuration file to connect during installation.
- Put the ONX vehicle resource in the server’s resources directory. The recommended folder name is [onx_vehicles].
- Add
ensure [onx_vehicles]in the server cfg.
Support is included. The ONX Development Team built the Sunsetter for roleplay communities, with Tidemo responsible for its scratch-made modelling.
Licence and custom liveries
Redistribution is forbidden.
Do not reupload, resell or rebrand the assets. Liveries and textures are the exception to those restrictions. Custom liveries may be sold or given away, provided the release includes appropriate metadata. They must be independent livery models or textures; the original vehicle models must not be bundled into the release.
The permission to release a livery applies only to that livery work. A free livery and a paid livery follow the same distribution condition: appropriate metadata accompanies the standalone livery model or texture, and the original Sunsetter models are excluded.
Personal civilian configurations
A suburban Sunsetter can use painted bodywork and a paintable seat to keep its appearance simple. A retirement-community character can add a shopping basket, while a beachside local can choose the food loadouts. The glass canopy creates a covered-scooter shape, and the mini spoilers alter the rear silhouette. These choices give the same slow electric-style runabout different character roles through its visual equipment.
For a more eccentric appearance, the seat can use leopard, tiger or zebra fur. Leather camo and crocodile skin provide further alternatives. The included liveries add another visual choice alongside the painted panels and the basket, spoiler and canopy selections. The scooter retains its low riding position and civilian mobility role across those configurations.
The model files total under 4MB combined. Its detail chain reaches L4. Elderly characters, retirement-community residents and comedy civilians can all use the scooter through existing garages, dealership systems and job loadouts, with no required dependencies or framework-specific setup.
Its 7 liveries accompany the basket, seat, canopy and spoiler selections.
