Description
Declasse Merit Classic is an older civilian sedan for period traffic, daily-driver characters and vintage car clubs. Dayashii’s vanilla modifications retain a lore-friendly Declasse identity, with the long bonnet, broad stance and chrome details associated with late-70s and early-80s American cruisers.
The car can appear as a clean stock example or a subtly modified personal classic. Its role is an everyday older sedan within Los Santos, rather than a concept car. That makes it suitable for a town traffic pool, an established business fleet or a collector’s garage.
Classic appearance and setting
The Merit keeps the familiar visual language of GTA V while adding an older-car silhouette to a civilian selection. It suits a Sandy Shores diner scene or a slow Vinewood cruise at 25mph. Those settings reflect the car’s period character and ordinary civilian role.
A stock-looking build can represent a preserved family car. With restrained exterior changes, the same platform becomes an old-school personal cruiser. Its customisation stays within that classic theme, allowing an older daily driver and a meet car to come from the same model.
Front and side choices
- Front bumpers: 11, covering factory, fleet and lightly modified appearances.
- Grilles: 10, for different front-end styles.
- Bonnets: 13, spanning stock and mild custom forms.
- Mirrors: 13, including factory chrome and compact aftermarket styles.
- Skirt trims: 2, changing the side detailing.
These choices alter the sedan’s face and side profile without departing from the period design. Stock parts support an unmodified civilian look, while the mild custom alternatives let a player develop a personal classic. The chrome and aftermarket mirror choices are part of that range.
Rear, roof and finish
- Spoilers: 12, from restrained stock fitment to period-style additions.
- Rear bumpers: 9, with factory and aftermarket choices.
- Exhausts: 7, including single-tip and dual chrome arrangements.
- Roof accessories: 7, including utility and road-trip racks.
- Trunk antennas: 3, adding vintage radio detail.
- Roofs: 4, supporting vinyl-top and two-tone builds.
- Liveries: 10, for factory-style finishes or fleet markings.
The roof accessories can give an older daily a utility or road-trip appearance. Vinyl-top and two-tone choices emphasise the classic period, while antennas supply another era-specific detail. Fleet markings and factory-style liveries serve different roles without requiring a different base sedan.
Roles for the Merit
A civilian character can use the car as a retro daily. Businesses, taxi co-operatives and NPC fleets can use its older-sedan appearance, while collectors can configure it as a preserved or mildly customised classic. It also suits vintage meets and ordinary period town traffic.
These roles share the same practical visual foundation: a full civilian sedan with age and character. The stock and custom parts determine whether it reads as everyday transport, an older company car or a personal project. The model can therefore appear in a player garage as well as the city’s background vehicle selection.
Framework and traffic setup
Merit Classic runs as a standalone vehicle resource in FiveM. QBCore, ESX, Qbox, vMenu-based servers and custom setups can use it without a required framework-specific integration layer. Some features need Game Build 3095; that build or a later compatible version is needed for the complete feature set.
The resource is spawn-only by default. It will not begin appearing in AI traffic simply because it has been installed. Ambient traffic use needs a custom traffic resource with the Merit included in its vehicle pool. This distinction matters when the intended role is town scenery rather than a car assigned to a player.
Installing the resource
- Under the server resources directory, create
[onx_vehicles]and place the ONX vehicle resources within it. - Include
ensure [onx_vehicles]inserver.cfgso that folder is started.
The installation follows the usual ONX vehicle structure. Framework choice does not change the model’s identity as a vehicle resource. Garage, player-spawn and traffic configurations determine how the sedan is used after installation.
Detail levels and textures
The supplied mesh includes all stages from L0 to L4. The detail sequence starts at 110,694 polygons and ends at 560. The full LOD coverage accompanies a classic sedan suited to player-owned garages, period-correct traffic and vintage meets.
The YTD contains 13 textures with a maximum resolution of 1024×1024. Embedded liveries in the YFT use a maximum of 2048×2048. These texture resources accompany the livery and body-part choices for stock, fleet and mildly customised classic configurations.
