Description

Vapid Scout Classic is a lore-friendly civilian SUV with 1991-1994 proportions and a period-style body. The ONX model provides a stock-looking daily vehicle that can also be configured for ranger, utility or trail use. Its square shape and customisation choices suit a FiveM fleet built around retro family vehicles and working SUVs.

The standard appearance keeps the body close to its civilian form. From there, the modkit offers front protection, roof treatments, snorkels and other trim choices. The same SUV can therefore take a suburban, park-service or off-road presentation while retaining its classic Vapid identity.

Stock and utility configurations

The model is built around a recognisable 90s American SUV style, with period-correct proportions and clean stock detailing. It is intended for everyday civilian roleplay as well as nostalgia-focused and utility fleets. The customisation range supplies the changes needed for the different appearances.

A stock daily can retain the chrome-style front treatment, while a trail build can use the more substantial ram bars. Ranger-inspired and park-vehicle setups can use the available lightbars and utility details. The glass-roof option offers another distinct treatment of the same cabin and body.

Modkit inventory

The package has 56 YFT modification parts. Body and trim customisation includes the following options, together with mudflaps and livery choices.

  • Front bumpers and ram bars: 19.
  • Rear bumper alternatives: 3.
  • Body trim-piece options: 3.
  • Side-step choices: 4.
  • Grille designs: 8.
  • Snorkel variants: 2.
  • Roof configurations: 7.
  • Rear-light bash covers: 4.
  • Lightbar options: 2.
  • Mudflaps included.
  • Livery selection: 8.

The front bumper range extends from stock chrome through off-road push-bar styles. Rear bumpers provide matching stock or utility treatments. Side steps and body trim alter the side profile, while the grille selection changes the front appearance within the same Scout body.

Snorkels and the roof selection provide the more visible trail-build options. Rear-light covers and mudflaps add utility details. The lightbars support ranger or patrol-style appearances, and the liveries cover clean civilian themes through novelty designs. These are customisation choices for the civilian model.

Prehistoric Park design

Prehistoric Park is one of the included liveries. It uses an adventure-park theme intended to accompany the glass roof. Together, that artwork and roof choice give the Scout a themed event or park-vehicle presentation while keeping its period styling.

The glass roof is part of the 7-option roof selection, so it is available through the same modification system as the other body treatments. The Prehistoric Park design is supplied within the livery collection, alongside the other civilian and novelty artwork.

Where the Classic fits

  • Daily civilian transport.
  • Retro family-SUV roles.
  • Ranger and utility configurations.
  • Off-road trail projects.
  • Security or park-vehicle styling.
  • Themed events and novelty designs.

These roles draw on the same civilian base model. A player garage can retain the stock SUV or make use of the available body parts. A fleet can select related utility details while giving individual trucks different roofs, front protection or liveries.

The vehicle can also be used as traffic dressing when the appropriate resource is added. It does not automatically appear in civilian AI traffic. Natural traffic spawning requires a separate traffic resource, which can provide configurable variety. That is distinct from manually spawning or registering the SUV as a player vehicle.

Framework and build requirements

The Scout Classic is a vehicle add-on and has no required economy framework. It works with ESX, QBCore, Qbox and custom cores. Server garage and vehicle systems can use the model through their normal resource workflow.

Some features depend on Game Build 3095. A compatible build is needed for the complete feature set. The framework-independent installation does not remove that game-build requirement, so both the resource entry and build version are part of preparing the vehicle for use.

  1. Create a directory named [onx_vehicles] inside the server resources folder and put the ONX vehicle resources there.
  2. Include the start command ensure [onx_vehicles] in server.cfg.

Custom livery and texture work can be prepared for server-specific artwork. The supplied 8 liveries remain the initial selection, while the embedded-livery texture format supports additional designs. The body options and artwork can be combined to define a daily, ranger or themed vehicle.

File structure and detail

The modification set contains 56 files alongside the main vehicle assets. A complete LOD progression takes the vehicle from its detailed nearby model to the lower-detail distant representation.

The highest mesh level is L0 at 91,475 polygons, while L4 is 1,188. The texture dictionary contains 21 textures, with a 1024×1024 maximum resolution. Embedded liveries have a separate 2048×2048 ceiling.

The stock silhouette and optional utility equipment remain the core of this release. A front-bar change, different roof or themed livery gives the Classic another role without changing the underlying civilian SUV model.

File sizes:

  • onx_scoutc_hi.yft: 2.4MB
  • onx_scoutc.yft: 1.9MB
  • onx_scoutc.ytd: 1.2MB
  • 56 yft mod parts: < 0.5MB

Mesh levels

  • L0: 91,475
  • L1: 37,082
  • L2: 13,770
  • L3: 5,642
  • L4: 1,188

Textures:

  • YTD resolution: max 1024×1024
  • YTD texture count: 21
  • Livery maximum resolution: 2048×2048

The styling combines the 1991-1994 proportions with a late-90s family-SUV character. Its 90s-correct detail is retained across the model levels. The combined modification-file size is under 0.5MB.

For a park fleet, the glass roof and Prehistoric Park artwork form the themed combination. For a daily civilian entry, the stock body and chrome-style front options retain the more restrained appearance. Both use the same underlying Classic model and its customisation options.

Licence, liveries and support

Ongoing support is included. Reuploading, resale and rebranding are banned for assets, excluding liveries and textures. Liveries may be offered at no charge or sold, provided appropriate metadata accompanies separate livery models or textures. Bundling the original models into those releases is prohibited. Redistribution is not permitted.
