Bison 55XD: Modular Cargo Truck

Bravado Bison 55XD is a lore-friendly box truck for delivery work, warehouses and contractor fleets. Tidemo modelled the vehicle from scratch for the ONX team. Its modular cargo, animated door and commercial liveries support different freight scenes using the same truck.

Rear cargo system

There are 3 modular cargo slots at the rear. Native vehicle mods can change the load state, allowing empty, partial and loaded configurations. The truck can therefore show a different cargo arrangement as a delivery or warehouse job progresses.

The rear roller door retracts with animation. It provides the opening for loading and unloading scenes, with the selected cargo visible behind it. Bumper and hood options, together with other cosmetic additions, provide exterior variations for a fleet.

The package supports loading workflows built around props and native vehicle mods. A scripted forklift sequence can place pallet props inside the truck before changing the vehicle mod to show a loaded state. The props and native mod states support custom job scripts for loading cargo.

Most of the other crate and pallet types are also available as vanilla props. Those props can be used alongside the custom ONX items when creating a loading sequence. The native mod state then represents the load carried by the truck.

Fleet liveries

The included livery slots cover an unbranded truck and commercial identities from the GTA world. They allow a courier, rental company or removal service to use the same underlying vehicle with different markings.

The shared ONX box-truck cargo items come with the vehicle. Script authors can use the included boxes, buckets and pallet assets in loading scenes alongside the truck’s native vehicle mods.

Setup and compatibility

The package uses native vehicles and props, so it is independent of a specific framework. QBCore, ESX and Qbox are supported, together with custom frameworks. Existing job or cargo scripts can use the model and props if they support custom vehicle assets.

1. Place the ONX vehicle resources in the server resources directory, preferably within [onx_vehicles].
2. Use ensure [onx_vehicles] in server.cfg.

Some features require Game Build 3095. Standard installations can use the package, while that build or newer is needed for the full feature set. The truck belongs alongside the other civilian ONX resources.

Asset and livery terms

Resale, reuploading and rebranding of the original assets are forbidden, with an exception for liveries and textures. Redistribution is prohibited.

Liveries may be released free or sold with appropriate metadata. They must be distributed as separate livery models or textures, without the original truck models. This allows independent fleet graphics while retaining the restriction on the vehicle files.

Logistics roleplay

The Bison can serve branded delivery contracts, warehouse work, moving services and freight missions. Its cargo states also support fictional illegal-pallet scenarios. The visible load can change with the job while the livery identifies the operator.

The retractable door, props and native mod states provide the components for that visual sequence. A custom job script determines when the state changes. Exterior options provide the additional bumper, hood and cosmetic choices for different versions of a commercial fleet.

The pallet props support embedded liveries up to 2048×2048. The pallet props use 23 YTD textures, while the vehicle has 29. The shared pallet assets are part of the supplied cargo package, alongside the custom buckets and boxes.

A delivery sequence can use the animated door to reveal the selected load, then change the native vehicle mod state as the script advances. The included props provide the visual cargo used around that sequence. Forklift-driven loading is one possible custom loading workflow for warehouse scenes. The same truck can therefore appear empty before collection and carry a selected load afterwards, depending on the job script.

Commercial markings are independent of the selected cargo arrangement. A courier-branded vehicle can use the appropriate box load, while a removals or warehouse scene can use another cargo choice. The bumper, hood and cosmetic options provide further fleet variation. These are the supplied components available to a server author building a delivery system around the vehicle and props.

The ONX team credits Tidemo for the scratch-modelled truck. Its mid-size commercial body and lore-friendly branding place it within a civilian freight roster.

The truck includes ten commercial livery slots, with clean and branded finishes.

A warehouse script can show the Bison empty, partly stocked with Sprunk boxes or carrying illegal-load pallets.
