Ambassador + Declasse Merit: ONX Sedan Pair

Cheval

$19.99

Description

Cheval Ambassador and Declasse Merit form an Australian-inspired pair of full-size civilian sedans. The Ambassador takes the executive-luxury role, while the Merit carries the appearance of a decommissioned police-package car. Dayashii built both models from scratch, with contributions from Tidemo.

The pair suits Australian-style roleplay, civilian character garages and mixed fleets. Both follow the lore-friendly GTA V visual setting, yet each gives a character a different starting point. The Ambassador suggests established status; the Merit has the stance and appearance of a car returning to civilian use after fleet service.

Included sedans

  • Cheval Ambassador
  • Declasse Merit

Executive Cheval Ambassador

The Ambassador is a full-size executive luxury sedan with a statesman-like presence. Politicians, lawyers and established business owners are among the characters it suits. It can serve as an everyday car for a high-status player or NPC, bringing a more formal civilian vehicle to city streets and town traffic.

Its executive character also suits a luxury-sedan fleet. A player-owned Ambassador can centre a business or professional character’s daily travel, while a background example supplies the same civilian setting in traffic. The full-size shape supports both uses without changing the car’s lore-friendly identity.

Retired-fleet Declasse Merit

The Merit is a civilian sedan with decommissioned police-package styling. Its police badges have been removed, while its shape and stance retain the ex-fleet character. That appearance suits a government-surplus story, a former police car in private hands or a retired detective’s civilian vehicle.

Plain-clothes character arcs, ex-cop builds and retired-fleet ownership fit this sedan. Security and contractor roles can also use the full-size civilian platform for protective-detail roleplay. The Merit gives those uses a recognisable history through its decommissioned appearance rather than an executive-luxury presentation.

Civilian and fleet uses

  • Daily transport for character-led civilian roleplay.
  • Executive or luxury transport for high-status NPCs and players.
  • Australian-inspired sedan fleets.
  • Government-surplus ownership stories.
  • Decommissioned police sedans for detective and ex-cop characters.
  • Retired detective and plain-clothes ex-fleet builds.
  • Security or contractor protective-detail vehicles.
  • Background city and town traffic.

These uses range from a character’s main car to background street vehicles. The full-size sedan shape gives both models that flexibility. The Ambassador supplies executive presence, and the Merit supplies retired-service character, allowing an Australian-inspired civilian lineup to carry both identities.

Neither model is a vanilla edit. Dayashii’s scratch-built work, with Tidemo’s contributions, gives the pair original lore-friendly forms created for the GTA V vehicle world. The distinction between them rests in their roles and appearance: executive civilian luxury for the Cheval, decommissioned fleet styling for the Declasse.

Both cars include the full L0-to-L4 detail ladder. Their YFT files are under 4MB in size. Embedded livery support allows custom livery work under the release conditions, and each sedan uses its own vehicle model name for spawning and integration.

Garages, jobs and traffic

FiveM runs the sedans as standalone vehicle resources. QBCore, ESX and Qbox are compatible but are not requirements. Servers using those frameworks can connect the model names to garages, vehicle shops and job systems; custom spawn logic can use them as well.

The cars do not enter AI traffic automatically. By default they are assets to spawn or assign to players. Natural AI appearances and configurable traffic variety require a dedicated traffic resource. That additional resource handles the traffic placement when the sedans are used as background vehicles.

Install and build

  1. Place the ONX vehicle resources in [onx_vehicles], inside the server resources directory.
  2. Put ensure [onx_vehicles] into server.cfg.

Some features require Game Build 3095. On a compatible game build, the vehicles install and run without further dependencies. The standalone pack can operate on any framework, with normal vehicle-model integration handling garage and shop use.

Support is included for integration questions.

Livery permissions and restrictions

Reuploading, resale and rebranding of the assets are prohibited, except for liveries and textures. Redistribution is also prohibited.

Custom liveries may be released free of charge or sold. They need appropriate metadata, and the release must consist of independent livery models or textures. The original ONX car models cannot be included in that release.

A designer may therefore prepare custom graphics for either sedan and distribute the permitted livery work on its own. Free and paid releases both follow that condition. The permission does not authorise bundling the Ambassador or Merit models with a livery, nor does it permit redistribution.

Player-owned and background sedans

An Ambassador can provide an executive character’s everyday transport or serve as a luxury sedan for a high-status NPC. A Merit can represent a former government vehicle now in civilian hands, supporting retired-detective and ex-cop stories. The pair also suits security or contractor protective-detail roleplay and Australian-inspired sedan fleets.

The YFT files stay below 4MB. The Merit spawns as onx_merit3. For AI traffic, a dedicated traffic resource controls their natural appearances; player assignment and direct spawning remain the default uses of these standalone vehicle assets.
